Champions Hockey is excited to invite you to our 2023 Elite Spring Development Program! 

 

This program is invite only and is sent to the top players in the area within each age group. This development program will consist of 12 ice times throughout the spring season beginning early April and finishing late May. These icetimes will be divided into six practice icetimes and six game icetimes.

The practice ice times will focus on Power Skating, Skill Development, Game situation drills and Small Area Games. These will take place roughly once per week.

 

On game days we will divide the group into two teams and play a full ice game. During the game there will be a Champions lead Instructor on the ice coaching as well as coaches behind each bench. Games will consist of 3 periods and will either take place in the evenings during the week or on weekends when players do not play. 

 

Ice times will be run by Champions Hockey Program Coordinator and U16 CHA Eagles Assistant Coach Matt Wright, Champions Co-Owner Dax MacLean, Co-Owner Stacy Smallman or U16 Eagles Head Coach Jon Harty. 

 

The focus of these 12 ice times is to provide players an opportunity to work on different development areas throughout the spring season alongside the other top players. 

 

This program gives players and families the flexibility to play Spring Hockey Tournaments with the Hounds program or to participate in other Spring Hockey opportunities.

 

The price of this program is $304.35 +HST which includes the 12 practices as well as a Champions Hockey Spring Elite Spring Development Practice Jersey.
