Champions Hockey is excited to announce Abby Moore goale development to prepare players for their upcoming hockey season.  This Prep Camp will be run by former U18 AAA Flames head coach Abby Moore. 

 

Abby Grew up playing AAA Hockey in Newfoundland until U15 AAA when she moved to Alberta for 3 years of Prep School. After Prep school she attended St Thomas University where she played 5 seasons. During her time at StU She won an AUS Championship where she won playoff MVP with an impressive .944 save percentage. That season she also was awarded the prestigious James Bayer Memorial Scholarship. 

 

During her time at StU she dedicated many hours as a guest goalie coach for various Skill development programs in both Newfoundland and New Brunswick. 

 

After her AUIS career ended Abby got into coaching where she spent 4 seasons with the U18 AAA female program. The first year she was an assistant coach/goalie coach. After that season she was awarded the head coach of the U18 AAA Female program and has spent the past three years as their head coach.

We are very excited to have Abby running goalie development this September. Alongside Abby she will be joined by Will Sibbald who has been working with our Champions Hockey for the past 3 seasons as a junior Goalie instructor. 

 

Will is currently the Goalie for Leo Hayes High school and is currently the head goalie instructor to our U13 Summer Academy and also helping to run our Ethan Pearson Summer Goalie Clinic.
