Champions Hockey is excited once again to be offering an exciting program to our Fredericton area players - the 18  10 on 10 Spring Challenge!

The U18 Spring Challenge provides high caliber U18 players with an opportunity to stay on their skates during the Spring months. Guaranteed to provide ample ice time, The Spring Challenge will offer athletes the chance to feel the competitive and exciting spirit of the game! This program will run evenings throughout April and May. 

 

Format:

​

Each ice session will consist of 60 minutes of fast paced, 5 on 5 Hockey with minimal body contact (NO Checking). This program is invite only and will go to the first 44 players and 4 goalies to register. 

 

Each team will play a 9 game round robin playing the other teams 3 times. 2 points for a win. 1 point for a tie and 0 points for a loss. After the 9 games the top 2 teams will play for the Champions Cup, the 3rd and 4th place teams will play a consolation game. 

 

Coaches behind the bench will be mainly LHHS Lions Head Coach Craig Langille and FHS Head Coach Matt Astle or Senior Champions Hockey staff

Program Features:

• Games (5 vs 5 including Officials)

• Game jerseys will be provided for gameplay and are to be returned at the end of the program.

• Top Team will take home the Championship & the Champions Cup.

• NO Body Contact (*Players issued any major penalty will be assessed game misconducts as per Hockey NB officials and will need to sit out their suspension.   Any player receiving a fighting major will be automatically removed from the program without refund)
