The Summer Advanced Performance Academy is the most comprehensive high performance development program in the region, built for athletes committed to pushing their limits and maximizing their potential. This elite program combines advanced on ice skill refinement with cutting edge off ice strength and conditioning, video analysis, and individualized performance support. Designed for driven athletes who want to separate themselves and prepare for the next level of competition. This program will be led by Champions co-owners and former pro players Dax MacLean and Stacy Smallman, Junior A Head Coach Matt Wright, and former Team USA player Gabe Guertler.

This summer, Champions Hockey is proud to partner with Synergy Health and Sports Performance to deliver an unmatched training experience. This collaboration provides access to world class strength and conditioning tailored specifically for hockey athletes, advanced speed and power development, and personalized off ice training programs to maximize performance outcomes.

Program Components

• On Ice Development: 15 elite skill development sessions focused on advanced execution, speed, positional detail, and hockey IQ

  • ​On-ice dates: July 21 to August 20

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mornings

• ​Goalie Instruction by ZWD Goaltending on Tuesdays

• Synergy Off Ice Training: Unlimited facility access for additional training days and two group performance sessions per week including strength, recovery, and flexibility work

  • ​Synergy gym dates: June 30th-Sept. 3

  • Group gym sessions Tuesdays and Thursdays

• Apparel: Exclusive Champions Hockey athlete gear package
