Champions Hockey is excited to announce that this Summer, Senior Instructor Talli Warren will be running Female Development Programs on Tuesday evenings!
Since returning to New Brunswick to play for the UNB Reds for the past two years Talli has been involved with Champions Hockey as the Head Coach of our U9 Red Hornets AAA Spring Program as well as working this past summer as an on ice Senior Instructor.
This 6 week program will be divided into two age groups. The first group will be female players born 2013-2014 from 5-6 PM beginning Tuesday July 11th at the Grant Harvey. The second group will be female players born 2011-2012 running 6:15-7:15 PM at the Grant Harvey.
This 6 week program will be broken down into two main development components. Three of the ice times will consist of power skating and skill development.
These icetimes will have a focus on power skating, stick handling, passing drills and shooting drills. Players will be divided for the drills and group work. The first 30 minutes will be power skating and the remaining 30 minutes will be drills or station work.
The other 3 ice times will focus on Small Area Games.
These icetimes will consist of different types of Small Area games which will help improve gameplay situations. Puck handling, passing, stickhandling and shooting.
Other Instructors will include 2023 RNS, and 2023-24 ST. Thomas Tommie Captain MJ English, U18 AAA Flames Shayne Burgoyne as well as other highly qualified Champions Hockey Staff
The price of this program will be $156.52+ HST
