PROGRAM INFORMATION
Champions Hockey is all about Development! The 2022-2023 AAA Series will feature separate divisions for advanced 2014 and 2015 born players.
FREDERICTON TEAM regions include - Florenceville-Bristol, McAdam, Doaktown to Coles Island.
Scheduling will be geared to avoid any conflicts with the Minor Hockey Associations schedules to provide maximum training time for our players. These additional ice times will help players enhance their hockey skills in addition to their winter team practices.
At Champions Hockey, we believe in positively challenging and motivating players in order to develop their skills and confidence in the areas of: individual skills, skating, game play and sportsmanship. Our experienced first-class staff embraces our Champions Hockey Philosophy – A model of Development and Fun.
The ultimate goal of our program provides the proper structure and an environment to challenge our advanced players in order to prepare them for competitive U11 hockey and beyond. It is important to note the AAA Winter League is offered in minor hockey associations in all other Canadian provinces.
Format:
The AAA Winter Series will include the proper balance of high level on-ice training as well as competitive full ice games.
Training Sessions:
The on-ice sessions will be lead by Champions Hockey Senior Instructors and coaches. Our complement of staff is recognized as one of the most experienced and qualified instructors in Atlantic Canada. The sessions will include specialized training for defensemen, forwards, and goalies. Small area games, including battle stations, will also be featured.
Program includes:
The schedule consists of approximately 26-30 Ice times that are a combination of practices as well as full ice games. (10-14 Games & 12-16 Hours of Practice)
*Please Note: Registration for the AAA Winter Program is reserved for players that received invitation to join specific teams based on identification camps or recruitment process and have confirmed their participation in the program with designated Champions Hockey coaching staff.
PLEASE NOTE: Champions Hockey Academy will be following all recommendations, guidelines and protocols laid out by the City Of Fredericton Recreation Department, The Province Of New Brunswick and the Chief Medical Officer with regards to Covid-19. The safety of our clients is our main Priority. If Champions Hockey is forced to postpone or cancel programs due to Covid-19, remaining program funds will be credited on the participants Champions Hockey Account to be used for any future Champions Hockey Program registration. No cash or credit card refunds will be processed. If participants do not respect protocols put in place with regards to rink guidelines, physical distancing measures, they will be removed from the program without refund.
