Streaming with Awareness: A Reminder for Our Community

We want to quickly address something important as we head into upcoming games.
We’ve received a few comments about conversations being picked up on our game streams, specifically remarks from parents in the stands about players and referees. Just a reminder that these are kids on the ice, and many of the officials are young as well, and their families are often watching these streams.
For those filming and streaming, please be very mindful of what’s being captured not just your own commentary, but also nearby conversations. Streaming the games is a fantastic way for family and friends that can't make it to watch. Positioning, awareness, and limiting background noise where possible all matter. More broadly, this is a good reminder for all of us to keep the environment respectful and positive.
What gets said in the stands doesn’t always stay there anymore. We appreciate everyone’s attention to this, it's about setting the right standard for our players and our program. - Champions Hockey
